Johnny Loves Rosie Halloween Wishlist

I’ve never really been one for Halloween – it’s only ever been a benchmark between my birthday and Christmas – but since I started getting into beauty a bit more I figured it’s the perfect opportunity to try out a few different looks! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going all out as characters or any variation of undead (although my mum is insisting otherwise), that’s not the kind of thing I’m into. It’s a good excuse to go for colours and tones in my makeup that I wouldn’t usually go for year-round, because Halloween is a good excuse to step outside of the box a little bit! Intu Derby A/W Fashion Show

I’ve been a little bit off the radar over the last couple of weeks when it comes to blogging but on Saturday I was invited to the A/W fashion show in Intu Derby so of course I jumped at the chance to get out and get me in the mood for writing a bit more! Every time I go shopping I tell myself that I’m not going to spend much, and 90% of the time I go completely overboard and spend a fortune. This time though, I stuck to my word and spend only £5! I don’t know if this trip was a cheap one because I couldn’t find much or because I somehow conjured up some self-control (who knew I was capable?) but either way, I picked up a couple of things I’ve been looking for and a couple things I didn’t know I needed – yes I do need them, ok? So all in all, sucessful. Continue reading “The £5 Shopping Trip”

Jamberry Nail Wraps

Nails can say a lot about a person – from shape to length to colour – and it’s a great way to try and figure someone out. Yes, you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, but a lot of people, myself included, like to match their nails to their attitude, mood and general style, right? So when Jamberry sent me some nail wraps with a few different designs and patterns, I did spend a lot more time than I had to waste picking out my first set. Continue reading “Jamberry Nail Wraps”
