Well, it’s been a while eh! Ive not been posting too much lately but that’s a topic for another time (all be it not a very exciting one). But anyway, enough about me, let’s get to the main event. About a month ago now my skin decided it didn’t want to just be it’s usual oily mess anymore – it decided to throw some dry patches in there too! So now instead of finding ways to keep oil at bay, I’m having to keep my skin hydrated to banish those unsightly dry patches too – fun. Continue reading “The One Product to Banish Dry Patches”
I’m all about budget beauty as you probably already guessed but when it comes to skincare I’m more likely to loosen the purse strings and splash out a little bit more. Now I’m not talking hundreds of pounds, I don’t have that, but I’m willing to spend up to around £40 given that the product is actually worth the price! A lot of the time I’ve found that some of the more pricey products aren’t really worth it – especially ones for ‘all skin types’ – I don’t trust that – so when REN offered to send me their new Flash Hydro-Boost I was a little dubious as to whether it’d actually do much. But, I’ve given it a few weeks (as I do with every skincare product) and I’m pleasantly surprised! Time for the second installment of the Etsy Spotlight series and this week’s shop is Sassie & Boo! Last week’s post with WitchwoodRemedies had a great reception (you can read it here) and I hope you guys love this one just as much as I do!
Sassie & Boo is run by a lovely lady named Keeley and she sells a selection of lip balms, face balms and candles. Each product is handmade by Keeley herself after a hard day’s work! Continue reading “Etsy Spotlight – Sassie & Boo”
Now I love a good face mask, especially a sheet mask because they can be so refreshing and let’s face it, it’s a great way to scare people. So when I received a Timeless Truth mask in the post I was buzzing. I don’t use face masks as often as I used to, just because I either don’t have the time or I can’t find the effort to wash it off afterwards – so this mask was perfect for me! Plus, with such oily skin I was excited to try out a green tea product as I’ve heard it can be great for it! Continue reading “TimelessTruth Green Tea Mask”
Happy Monday guys! So today I needed a quick post and I thought I’d do a first impression of one of this weekend’s impulse buys! I picked up the NIVEA Daily Essentials BB Cream 5in1 Beautifying Moisturiser yesterday in Tesco by accident (I swear!). I went in to buy laundry detergent and face wipes but went into auto-mode when I saw the words ‘BB cream’ and ‘sale’. Continue reading “First Impressions – NIVEA BB Cream”
Hi guys! Today’s post is about something I’m really missing right now – my skincare routine. Since I’ve been away I’ve not been able to stick to my routine because my liquid allowance meant I only had room for my cleanser and face wipes – words cannot express how upset I am about this. Continue reading “Skincare routine”
Yes, you read that right! Men’s shave balm as a primer. For those of you that aren’t up to date, this is what people are claiming to be the best primer around for oily skin at a low price and it’s even used by Kylie Jenner, shown in a snapchat makeup tutorial, so naturally I had to pick some up and give it a go.
